My buddy Tom, (Dullorb), has disabled plates on his S3-T.

(I sometimes call him Gimp, but him and I are tight like that.)

I have a buddy who was involved in a bike accident last year that almost cost him his life. He has about 17 stainless steel bolts and pins in one leg alone, not to mention the pins in the neck and other parts of his body. He walks with a limp and I at times call him "Gimp" or "Limpy", we don't take it personal. I have another friend thats single and loving it, I call him a "Tramp, Male-Wohre other word that comes to mind"

I think it time for people to start minding their own business and keep out of others. If you didn't like Buellgrl's Opinion or her use of Words the fcuk off and don't read it.

OR

Complain to a custodian who will promptly delete said post.

People here are really getting too damm judgemental these days and I am starting to think the board is going down the tubes.

Just my observations from out here on the Rock.

...just made this sticker for a friend today. Been in a chair since 1977, GSW, technically a quad. He uses the term gimp liberally when referencing himself and the guys on his rugby team. All depends on the person.

Those are some pretty strong words Newfie. If somebody said on a post White Power and black people suck, would you just not read it, or would you tell them what you thought? I didn't tell Buellgirrrrl that I was going to kick her , I just asked her to simply not be making derrogatory comments about people with disabilities, whether or not she has one. I don't think it was out of line of me, do you. If you didn't like what I wrote, why did you keep reading??

Stop this NOW
We can discus the topic, or not.
Or not, means don't post.
This well meaning thread is going down hill fast.
Let's put an end to the this thread going way off topic and turning nasty.
Thanks for yall's continued support.

WOW! I guess you can tell by the tone in here that the riding season for many folks is coming to a close. Arguing over the meanings of words seems rather poopy to me. This thread needs an enema.

Cochise,
In your profile pic, is that a tree behind your head, or do you indeed have a mullet? No offense intended. Just curious.

I'll be TRAMPS's stalker if that's w-w-what it takes to make him feel equally picked on!

Y'all need to lighten up just a little. Arguing like this is for SACBorg.

Funny Lowflier, but usually ladies ask me the same question, but they ask me about a tree limb a little lower down, *Rim Shot*

I've met Cochise and broken bread with him and I'll say that he does indeed sport what some rednecks in these parts would refer to as the mullet's mullet. Billy Ray Cyrus would be proud. That'd be a beer drinkin', hound ownin', chaw chewin', squirrel wrasslin' mullet if you will.

I'm kidding. Really I am. If I tried to grow one now it'd be called a skullet.

What have I started here...?

Ok guys and gals, chill out, please. Let's talk about constructive ideas, like how to build an awesome high performance sidecar to match our high performance Buells. Something for the rider that just got the use of his legs taken away by a drunk driver, or the gal that just got told she will progressively lose her ability to balance her bike.

The Motor Company needs to provide these riders a more exciting alternative than a NOS 1937 sidecar hooked to an FLHP. Any ideas?

Cochise is just trying to blend. He's in Arkansas now. Mullets are probably the standard cut at the local barber shop.

Me? I'll not be teasing anyone about their hair. Got any new non-PC words for the folicly challenged? joker

Blake,

That would be called a skullet. Gallagher made it famous.

And now, to bring the subject full circle:

A disabled biker mullet guy.

Didnt' Mladin sport a mullet for a while?

Ever see the mediteranean looking dudes at the beach sporting the bikini mullet? Whatever happened to the theory of evolution? LOL. Them dudes are a few mutations behind in the race. LOL.

never had a mullet (phew!) but limp whenever the humidity and baro pressure varies rapidly as a reminder of my mis-spent adolesence ;-}

Blake -- PC is like art and porn, very much in the eye of the beholder, I'm thinkin -- if my words offend unintentionally (as opposed to on purpose), I try to alter them so as not to -- if they don't, all's well

it's a shame that, overall, our society had become so thin-skinned that we wake up each day looking for offence -- guess what, we often find it

some of the bravest cats I ever knew were the chair-bound folks at Southern Ill U (went there right after coming back to the states) -- these folks played a remarkably aggressive roundball game, hurt eachother big time playing volleyball, gave no quarter nor requested any -- couple of em had specially moded trikes and such -- they called themselves gimps and squids, but I never felt I had earned the right to do so, so I called em sir
