Mike- check out the shot posted on AT... If I knew how to, i'd post it here- it's an FXR with with a buell frontend, ohlins rear, some BMW R100RS looking tank, short fender, etc. it looks like my bike, actually, even though it's a big twin FXR...which is, of course, a Buell design.... might be more radically buellesque than you wanna go with your dyna (but you can always shelve your tins for later retrofit/resale), but it's precisely the scoot i wann build...even has MX bars...I'll use pro-tapers.... | ||

you could have just said you need direction, JT  If you get on 17 from 84 East, follow it past the monroe exits where you'll see an exit for rt. 6, palisades pkwy.... it's the second-to-last exit before the harriman toll for the thruway...if you miss it, take the next exit, for rt. 32. go right at the end of the ramp, and you'll see signs right in front of you for the rt.6 exit a few yards ahead... anyway...follow signs to Bear Mtn...second turn at the traffic circle at the end of rt. 6 (bottom of the hill) You can't miss me...I'm the Short hispanic woman with the dreadlocks and mumu.... oh, yeah...if you come across pine island, stay on rt. 1 to warwick.....in warwick, take a left on west st., follow to main st., go right on main st and follow for a few blocks (it's called Oakland Avenue, there) then hang a left onto rt. 17A. rt. 17a goes right into Harriman state park, via Greenwood Lake....follow signs, in the park (CRAZY twisties in that section) to bear Mtn- seriously- i have a friend whom I've introduced to this board (actually, I've introduced a bunch of them to this board) who lives in Westtown, right on the Pine Island side... I'm now up in the air on this. Had a nerve in my tooth rupture yesterday at work (bundle of joy I was) anyway on some great narcotics and left side of my grille (thats face for you non ebonics guys) is swollen enough that my left eye is useless. If I can see in the A.M. I'll be there got the camera mounted and all too !@#$%%&^&**. | ||

I hope it warms up a bit for tomorrow, I was on the bike at 8 this morn and it wasCOLD! (I know, no wimping out, it was darn near 40 when I left, thT'S NOT COLD FOR YOU GUYS...) Tramp, watch out for them damn anti-parasitics, they can make ya sicker than the disease in some cases, not that I would know from experience or anything... Rich, I sure hope that nerve is feeling better, I got stung in the eye once, whole side of my face got so big, I couldn't see out of my left eye for days. Made me even uglier, if such a thing were possible... think elephant man from the neck up! But I can imagine a burst nerve must be way worse pain wise, GET BETTER MAN! | ||

Wow, Tramp, UGGGH! 2 1/2 years? Have you ever considered any type of alternative medicine? I couldn't work for 2 years and lost 30 lbs for that long because of parasites, went through various anti parasitics, including flagyl multiple times, and it was an alternative therapy that finally cured me. If you are even slightly interested, let me know, I could refer you to some great people in several different fields. Ray |
