Sorry folks, I would've posted this to the KV but this topic catagory was locked, and the search netted no useable info. Got a Kooks header on a 2000 X1, I'm throwin away the muffler that came with the bike, looks like it came from a place called 3A Racing. Anyway, what aftermarket muffler will fit on a Kooks header, and what is the Inner Diameter on the inlet of a Vance & Hines SS2R muffler? Thanks in advance | ||

Call Kooks, they still have some leftovers. Manly systems for S1's but the mufflers are the same. You can call them at 1-866-586-KOOK (5665) or email em at info@kookscustomheaders.com Last time I called them they were very friendly and willing to sell me a S1 header cheap. good luck! | ||

Don't remember the exact price but i think it was close to 600 which aint bad considering they used to go for 1200. You will have to email them, there isn't another number on their site. |
