So I set off my first car alarm yesterday with the Drummer. The deep thump made that little Honda squeal for its Mommy! I'm still laughing about it tonight. I almost set out on a mission for the day to set off as many as possible but a millisecond later realized that was an incredibly stupid plan.

Ah, the simple things. Hahaaa! That is all.. .

The things that make us feel good... I'll patrol the lot listening for the warning little woop woop, then blip the throttle. The alarm seems like music as I tear off.

CHILDISH, I know...

Ahh yes. We'll never forget our first time.
My ironhead sets them off more easily than my X1.
Perhaps it's frequency dependant?
It's common for me to truck through under 2000 RPM on the ironhead.

My Jardine (now that the packing has loosened up) does the same thing! Every parking lot I ride through I'm bound to make someone's alarm "chirp". It's so good being bad!

I remember having to go into a hotel parking garage during my trip. My parents had managed to park without trouble. Me on the other hand ended up setting off most of the car alarms in there. Oops...

I remember parking my bud's S3-T. I killed the engine and realized my cell was ringing. It was my bud asking where I was. He was at the bar a few blocks away blocking the parking spot right by the front door. I hoped back on the bike and started it up and it gave a great loud back fire. Caused the car in front and behind me to go off, one person to hit the ground, and about 5 or 6 people to laugh.

hahaa! thats too funny Doughnut. i had a jogger sorta move/duck outta the way the other day when i was jammin down a hill. comin' down from high revs, few good pops and some gurgling sent her scrambling.

friend of ours that would drive by our shop would never wave... he would just rev his old pickup, turn it off, floor it and turn it back on for a HUGE backfire. sounded like a canon. we died laughing every time.

My RS doesn't set off the alarms due to the turbo making it pretty quiet. The 48 Indian Chief I had before would set them off for a hundred feet in any direction! It wasn't all that loud - I think it had to do with the low frequency of the sound waves or something. I once rode through Beverly Hills - Rodeo Drive on it (picture long rows of Mercedes, BMWs, Rolls, etc.) with a friend of mine - he was on his '51 Chief, and we must have set off a dozen alarms on every block! We stopped at the light at Wilshire and all you could hear was the sound of car alarms. Big fun! AL

Made a small child cry, and a big ol' redneck jump and twist his neck firing up the Nallinized Cyclone with the race exhaust.

Now I have a Drummerized race exhaust to try out. Expecting even more dramatic effects.

I'm bad.

Kevin is bad.

The bike is definitely bad.

Blake like. : ]
