These are the reasons why I drove 40 miles (crappy city type roads)to buy my bike here instead of 2 miles to my local HD. The management at Liberty has obviously made a serious committment to Buell (as well as HD). The sales mgr. who sold me my bike has a full race sponsorship from the dealer and actually won up at Louden this summer. The tech that works on my bike is a friend I've ridden with and knows Buells inside and out. The parts guys know what the Buell parts are without looking them up in books. When you order a part and it comes in, they actually call you, no lie - amazing. The service manager charged me only for 15 minutes for a TPS reset which was done right the first time (while I waited with no appointment) because the tech rides a Buell & knows what he's doing. The accessories area is full of Buell stuff from T shirts to Vanson.

The other thing is a bit hard to explain but it is the "feel" of the shop when you walk in. It doesn't seem like you are at a mall boutique. There's plenty of chrome and shiny bikes, but there's also some built up older bikes, choppers and antique rides. It hasn't completely given up all of the old school motorcycle shop like some HDs have.

Honestly, I could probably have gotten a better deal if I squeezed them a bit harder or played one dealer against the other. In the long run it really just isn't worth it. I know these guys will take care of me.

I almost forgot - Having Erik Buell hand you the keys to your new bike is pretty cool too.....

I think I'm going to cry!

(<--Tears of joy)

Seriously though, I'm so glad to hear that your experiences have been good in all the departments. Even though, as management, we like to THINK people are doing what we say, we never really know.

Well, sometimes we find out the hard way.

If that ever changes though, and if you guys have something happen that you think is not right, PLEASE let me know. You're not (necessarily) going to get someone in trouble, and I'd like the opportunity to make right whatever may be wrong.

Thanks though, Jerseyguy. You really made my day.

BTW we got in some new shirts from Vanson about noon on saturday (long story) so I don't know what time you were here, but I thought I'd let you know.

You are quite welcome. I'm just giving credit where credit is due. Court just sent me some of his pics.

Nuts, I didn't ask Erik. I just got the race ECM and K&N put on yesterday morning (in the Liberty parking lot). It ran a bit rough pulling out of the lot yesterday. I had started and stopped it a dozen times in the lot for people to hear and I think I loaded it up. On the ride home it cleared up completely and the ECM had time to learn the new setup.
Kevin tested the muffler with the race and the TFI and said that the best results were gotten with the race ECM alone.
