I picked up Deep Purple's BURN cd this week. I have not listened to this since I wore out my vinyl(what's that?) copy 30 years ago (that can't be right - I only have a 17 yr old mind; sorry not good with the math). I forgot how good of an album it is; first one with Coverdale/Hughes on vocals.

No real reason for this post, but these tag lines have a way of bringing out some great tunes some of us have forgotten about......another one -Humbles Pies Live Filmore album with 16yr old Frampton............................is that math thing starting to show?

early memory: 1969, i am 5 years old, all adults in room are pretty loaded, playing stones "Let It Bleed" dont remember which track contains a car horn honking in background, but at that point we all went to the window to see who was out there honking. about 20 minutes later, album repeats, we are on our way to window, when we all realize at the same instant: "It's on the record"
