I was wondering, if this WILL work with my 99X1. I can red that is from, 02X1, but I am just making sure one way or the otehr before I bid.

I need one of these, though I am not looking forawrd to set-up..

Anyway, just want to make sure I am not wasting money before I bid on a peice of electronics that wont wrok on my 99.

I have been working an average of 20 hours days..and I am not thinkign coherentlay...

Chase, I don't see why it wouldn't. From what I have gathered any PCII/III is basically the same device. Some harnesses are longer than others due to the bikes layout. The map that you input is where the key is. I am running a PCII for a 99-00 S3 on my '04 XB12S. All I had to do was lengthen the black wire going to the battery by about 10 inches. Works great.

Chase, other than tuning I gather that the x1 series are more or less identical, a pc3 that fits 99 to 02 s3 or x1 will work like Odie says
maps are the issue.
the install is not too bad except for routing the wiring for the o2 sensor option, If you decide to do it plan on removing the tail section casting from the frame to pass the connector through the space at the top by the main wiring trunk, the connectors for the pc3 should fit and work, I put mine in the space under the seat, and loaded the factory map for my config, it helped stop the pinging that was
a problem.
