Actually, I don’t think there’s been a day gone by that it hasn’t crossed my mind and I’m beginning to wonder if that day will ever occur when it doesn’t. Whether the thought is triggered by the opening scene of a movie filmed in New York, or an episode of Friends where you catch a glimpse of the WTC or for whatever reason, I don’t think I’ll ever forget. So on my way back from our meeting today, I had to make a stop.

Very cool picture. I too feel like I think about that at least once a day. A really horrible thing happened that day and I hope our nation never experiences any thing like that again.

I narrowly escaped certain death during the '93 attempt on the World Trade Center. I survived the 2001 attack on the World Trade Center. I hope I never have to go through either again. I know it sounds trite, but we will never forget.

While visiting Ft Worth I stopped by the American Airlines museum. I looked down and found myself standing on a very special group of tribute bricks.

Never Forget.

I rode to Ground Zero yesterday along with two other Buellers.
It was an amazing time, people clapping, police officers shaking my hand, thanking me for honoring their fallen friends; a moving experience.

I actually don't really care much for the 9/11 issue. Of course I don't wish any American to die. But in reality over 300,000 Americans die each year from obesity realated problems. Numerous people die each year from preventable problems etc etc. Yet we err the president only focus on one sad day.

I don't know anybody who died on 9-11. But I know people who died from smoking/ lung cancer. People who died from being fat and lazy. People who use serios drugs. etc etc. Its a weird way to look at things, I know. But lets focus on what can be done NOW to prevent Americans from dieing.

How many 200lbs 12 year old kids do you see. There life span is shortend by at least 15 years. etc etc

People dying of lung cancer or obesity are not murdered. You want to deal with taking away peoples liberties in order to save lives, ban smoking period, close down fast food outlets, whatever, the next thing on the agenda - ban motorcycles because people die on them?
