I'll see what the promoter says. I might have to keep it under a hundred for the first 50 miles or so to break it in right. I'm one of those fools that believes in breaking in an engine like you're going to ride it.   Cochise Posted on Tuesday, September 13, 2005 - 07:24 pm:        I did that with my XB12R, next day the dealership was picking it up and taking it back to fix it, but I've heard success stories, my problem was, I got stuck in traffic and it overheated too much.   Jerseyguy Posted on Tuesday, September 13, 2005 - 08:31 pm:        Cochise - Well, I picked up the new SS today. I was able to keep it under 100 for the first 50 miles, although I did hit 90 at one point. The stock muffler is so quiet I didn't notice how fast I was going when I passed a car. I can actually hear the fan running! LOL.
