Should be somewhere in the neighborhood of 90hp. Not much more... |

Depends, do you have the race ECM and filter? V+H didn't make a full system, did they? I'd guess about 80 |

The Vance and Hines does not add any hp to the top end. It adds about 12 hp to your midrange(4000rpms) which is where most of us ride anyways so it is in the right place. But to run right you must replace your stock ECM with the Buell race ECM otherwise you are running to lean. |

Look up under the plastic on the right side of the battery. It should say "For Race Only" on the bottom of the module. |

For Race Use Only... Definitely great music to the ears of true Buell enthusiasts! 1313 |

I missed your question on the idle speed. I like it to be slower <1,000rpm since it vibrates less but according to the designers it should be at 1,000 so there is sufficient oil pressure. At about 1,100 mine really starts to shake. |

Fuel injected bikes like your S3 need to idle above 1000rpms. I keep mine right around 1100. Less than that and they tend to bog off the starting line. |

Thanks Dan. That explains what my 2000 S3 has been doing. Idle is set at about 900 right now. Looks like I need to change that. |
