Otherwise they only hold 5. The manual is right when it says that there is 0.4 gal. left when the light comes on. I coach either at Rockland Comm. College or at Lagrange for SmartRider. Hope your friend enjoys it and does well. Or have a single moment of anger or terror on the road? It was because I flew to Boston, then Nantucket, and drove a boat back to Maine by way of Woods Hole, Buzzard Bay, the Cape Cod Canal, Duxbury Bay, then an overnight liberty call in Portland, ME and on to Mount Desert Island.
