Anyone know a good way to get Buell mags shine back. Have an 02 that has sat outdoors for it's entire life.Mags are a bit rough, would like to polish them up or sand blast. Any ideas?? She is indoors now . Am proud new owner. THANKS

This bike has the stock mags with the three spoke style.Iam not sure if there aluminum or other material.

If you have PM wheels, use mothers metal polish paste, and lots of elbow grease, that will remove the oxides.

All buell wheels are "3" spoke 2 versions are a cast type the surface is "rough" (relitive to the pm wheels) If they are as they were when new they are also usualy powder coated.

The PM wheels when they were new they were mirror polished, pm's are "spun" from sheet aluminum and have a weld visible at the hub.

This is a link to pictures of my bike it is equipped with 1 version of the PM wheel, the earlier version is similar with a slot in the center of the spoke( as seen from the side)

If that is it, that is my S3 sitting next to it.
