Disassambling my oil pump,I realized that the thrust washer, which should be under the retaining ring that holds the gearshaft in place, is missing.
The pump has never been disassambled before.
The pump is belonging to the last generation, made in 2001.
Does anyone knows,if this upgraded pump does not have/need this thrust washer?
In my service manual for 2001 Cyclone it does.
I´m a little bit confused.
Thank you for any help.
Regards,Ralph
