So about 6 or 7 months ago i bought a 2007 blast off of a kid who said it needed a new ignition module and did not have spark. i took it home and started looking into it and all signs did point to a bad ignition module. i replaced it and still no spark i was pretty fed up for a few months trying to figure out what it was until i read threw the forum and found out it had a bank angle sensor which i bypassed and now it runs great. so thank you guys for that. i took it for a ride around my neighborhood and realized the speedometer and odometer are not working as well as the front headlight. i replaced the front headlight and now the speedo is my only problem. before i try to fix this bike which i know not much about i want to turn to the experts. so here it goes. on the unit the top half of the speedo lights work as well as the blinker indicator neutral indicator, high beams and oil pressure. the odometer screen does not turn on it stays black, the bottom half of the speedo doesn't light up and the needle does not budge. please help. |
