My 03 XB9S won't down shift. It up shifts (or did), to top gear, and is now stuck. There's very little movement in the shift lever, it just comes to a rigid stop in either direction. I took the primary cover to off to check and all return springs appear to be in place. The bike has been running fairly well, and this problem occurred with no warning. The bike has fallen recently (tipped over in the garage, on the right side) although I have ridden it since (over 100 miles) without issue. I recently changed the engine and primary oil, also without issue. Any ideas?
