New to the board so this has most likely been discussed before. I would like to know if anyone can tell me how many disks to start out with in a Buell Pro Series slip fit muffler. I have a 99 X-1. I will be installing a power commander and force air cleaner at the same time. I plan on using a generic map from DynoJet to start. I have 2 harleys and this is my first Buell experience. This site is great.
thanks!
Dave

Put them all in to start, 15 if memory serves.
Past dyno sheets show most HP with about 18?
I'm sure someone with a better memory will chime in.
The volume increase isn't that much with all of them installed.

I have tons O' disks and an open endcap on my external Trapp. Put 'er on the Dyno, man!

You can pretty much tailor your torque curve dramatically depending on what you want. A custom map would probably be required to get the most of it.
