Author Message   Audiowize Posted on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 - 08:30 pm:        I'm currently mating a 2009 (I believe) XB12 engine to a 2003 XB frame. I see that there are completely different fuel pumps between the two, so I'm assuming I need to toss my old pump and get the newer version?   Froggy Posted on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 - 03:06 am:        Nope, both are compatible. The newer pump is quieter, but in terms of getting fuel into the motor it is the same. I do know the newer pump has a different connector, so if you installed on an older bike you would need to spice a different connector.   Audiowize Posted on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 - 10:12 am:        I have an older bike, but a (I think) 2009 motor and wiring harness.
