Hi everyone! Wanting to replace my standard S1 lightning swingarm into something a bit more esthetic. I was looking at some mods that seem to be coming off an XB. Any recommendations? I see relatively cheap swingarms on Ebay and I'll need to bring the bike in for rear suspension repair anyway so this might be a good time to replace the old swingarm. See below for a swing arm mod example what I had in mind.

I have an aluminum (late model) tube frame swingarm like the one shown - although it's in the original unpolished finish. Comes with the (still attached) mount block and hardware.
Please send a PM if you're interested.

I think the swingarms you're thinking of are the X1 and later M2 swingarms, like what Screamer has. I just swapped mine the other weekend. It's not a bad process, and is definitely an upgrade to the bikes appearance. They're supposedly a bit stiffer too, but they still weight the same so you're not losing any weight.

There's a ton of information about it on the forum, just search for "swingarm swap".

The swing arms from 99-2002 are all the same. M2, S3 and X1.

Hi everyone. Thanks for the support. It's greatly appreciated! I've been in touch with screamer and will get what I need through him. Now I just need a Buell mechanic in Vancouver area to put it together!
