I bought a left side shallow saddlebag at a swap meet and I noticed that the body line runs differently than the one on my deep bags. The latch and hinges are all the same. Were there differences in these lines between the deep and shallow covers? I have a 02 S3T and I just gave up and ordered a right side cover shallow cover from the 2000 parts book. Now I am wondering if it will match the left one I have.

If the swap meet lid fits your bag, odds are the new one will look similar. S2 lids will not fit S3 bags, so I think you're good.

Yeah the inner was the same for both bags. In fact I had to use the other inner due to some damage after I laid it down coming home from riding the ridge. It is only the indentation along the bottom of the lid that follows a slightly different line than the deep covers.
