Interested in doing a rear brake mod on my 2009 xb12scg.

Terrys1980 suggested the Brembo P32G but, stated it's almost a direct bolt on.

Has anyone done this upgrade and if so how?

You probably re-use the original buell bracket to mount the brembo caliper on.
Mounting holes from the brembo caliper must have the same distance as the bracket has.
In that case you only need two bolts with the correct thread and bolt it together.

You need also a different bolt to connect the brake line onto brembo caliper.

But this is not a hidden brake caliper mod.

I was thinking your caliper was on the right side, which would have been a direct bolt on with the P32.
This guy is supposedly making the hidden caliper brackets.

Thanks for the reply Terry1980.

I also came across the hidden caliper brackets (mikek2111987) on buellxb forums but, was interested in having it placed in the stock brake location. Only problem with that is doing a one off bracket just to keep the caliper visible would cost $300+

Think i'll stick to my stock setup.

A couple options to spruce up the back brake would be HH sintered pads, a wave rotor, rebuild stock caliper and paint it.

Your rotor has some deposits on it. A brake hone could clean that up as well.

No need for a $300+ bracket.
A piece of alloy and a electric jigsaw and some of your time can make things happen!

Made my own hidden brake caliper bracket that way!

@Terrys1980-
Just installed some EBC Double-H Sintered Brake Pads last night. Might swap rotors for Braking wave soon and paint calipers as well.
@Brothers_in_buells-
Wish I had the machining skills to make my own bracket. Your setup looks nice though! Is that a Micron Exhaust?
