I've got an 08XB12Ss, and am considering swapping to an S (shorter) swingarm this winter... anybody ever done this before? Would a standard S belt be the correct length? Any thoughts or wisdom for the good of the order

Yes a shorter s type belt could do the trick, but there is more to think about the shock length.
