I have a 06 uly and im dropping the suspension because I want it just for street use so I'm looking for which forks are compatible and finding xb12ss forks are hard

The 2006-08 XB12SS uses the same forks as all 2005+ standard height Firebolt and Lightning models. Those forks are plug and play with your stock trees and will lower you to about the same height as a standard Firebolt/Lightning.

For 2009-2010, the SS got the taller suspension from the STT.

You seem to know a lot about the various Buells. I want to lower my 08 XT and am trying to confirm which shock I can use. I think its a 12SS but like to confirm before I buy something

kinda late but 06 SS rear shock= one in drop and 3/4 to 1" bar risers and slip the tubes 1" up in the trees. worked great for me
