When I got my bike last year it had this oil looking stain on the primary cover. It might be coming from the shifter shaft or something. I've tried a few things and it doesn't want to come off. If you guys have any ideas to get it looking good again I'd appreciate it. I'll try to get some pictures on here to show

WD40 did a good job for me with the matte black crinkle covers on my XB9SX.

Do you think that would be fine with the tan cover? Think a scotch Brite green pad would work without scratching it?
