Yesterday my CEL came on while riding my 2009 XB12Ss, so I when I got home I made a jumper to read the code. If I am reading it correctly, I am getting a code 21 (video: https://youtu.be/3TeSea04y4Y). Am I right?

If it is in fact a code 21 and seeing as I have a Drummer installed, is it safe to ride the bike while the light is on? Does anyone know where I could find a servo emulator to hopefully remedy the issue? American Sport Bike no longer has it listed on their site.

That does look like "21". It is safe to ride at the risk of not knowing if some other issue causes the CEL to turn on.

A worthwhile investment would be a data link cable, which will not only allow you to disable the AMC error logging (and CEL code)but also perform diagnostics procedures and record data logs for tuning purposes. I make and sell the highest quality cables (see my profile), which comes with an extensive User's Guide.

I also have a servo emulator plug sitting here on my desk as a prototype, but it is not yet waterproofed so therefore not ready for production. If you are the handy type, there are instructions on how to make your own in the Tuning Guide hosted on ecmspy.com, but I cannot vouch for the validity of those instructions.
