Hey guys, so I recently bought a blast and came out from dinner and found my shifter lever/pedal broken on the ground. How should I go about replacing it? I've found that full stock kits are about $100. I was doing some looking at the bike recently and was wondering if I took off the splined collar, if I could just attach another shift lever that was the same size and had the same teething? Is the only thing attached to the transmission from the shifter just the lever or should there also be that kind rod some other bikes have? I'm a broke college student just trying to fix my daily driver fairly cheap. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
