Hello,

I'm about to order the spring compressor and primary lock bar so I can disassemble my clutch and take a look at the plates, shift return spring, detent screw and etc. I am using the service manual BTW. I am having a very hard time downshifting. I have to double tap the shifter, come to a stop or push down very hard to downshift from 4th on down. I would like to replace known wear items with recommended replacements. I am looking at many posts on this topic and at what vendors have to offer. Any advice out there before I spend some loot? Thank you for your time.

John
