Took my '06 Uly to the dealer for Lean Angle sensor recall also told them about my hiccuping problem (the bikes, not mine). Tech hooked up the computer and could not do a TPS reset. gave me two part #'s original part # and the 'supersede' part #...fits an '07. told me to order the newer #. I did. Part came in. Took the bike in they installed the earlier version saying that the '07 model wouldn't fit. True??

That is correct, there was a change and later 07 models have a different TPS and some other changes to the throttlebody..

Anyway, not being able to perform the TPS reset is likely dealer incompetence, your old TPS sensor is likely fine.
