My 08 XB12Ss long has had "an elect problem" for ages...HD are hands in the air?I'm running a Drummer SS pipe & had an EBR ECM fitted but HD suggested it may be contributing to the very rough performance & un reliable power delivery and returned it to the original ECM. We have changed the solenoidal, new battery, TPS & now looking at the Temperature sensor. A complete new harness is very expensive here in Australia, due to the engine removal etc...
Please any ideas out there, fellas??

Look at the wires around the steering head where they drop under the frame. Go one by one through your fingers, they can crack the conductor but leave the insulation intact.

I just had similar problems on my 2008 XB12SS. Replaced the IAC (Idle Air Control) Motor and the problems were gone. It would bog down and not want to rev, stumble, etc.
