I just finished cleaning my 97 S3 carb 27485-96Y which I last tweaked years back. It's all clean and reassembled other than having one part left over which I am having difficulty identifying. It's 1/2" in length and any assistance is welcome, pic below.

Well that took a while to figure out. DOH! it took a couple attempts to properly install but the carb is now good to go.
