Hello again from an long time lurker. Seems I never have anything to share with you folks until something goes wrong. Any case, after a rough start, thought I would check the oil and other liquids of the bike. On inspection, the Oil Fill Cap of my Uly was AWOL; just gone. Here are the corrective actions as I see them, and any input would be highly valued. Stop Riding the bike Put a FOD barrier over the fill point. Buy a replacement from one of the fine establishments at the link. Get the bike an Oil Change, run it a bit, then change the oil again. Is this a near approximation on how I save my Uly? |

Put a cork in it Mcintodo. (Sorry. Couldn't resist.) Yes, that sounds like a good plan. Personally, with a good stopper or cork jammed in there, I would probably keep riding until the real part came in. |

Thanks for the tip. Sadly don't have one appropriately sized, but the cork from a recently dead bottle of Rough Stock Whiskey will work short term. Have a new Oil Fill Cap coming in. |

Question is , how did the plug disappear ? Maybe i'm just paranoid but i'd be seriously worried , those thing's don't just fall out! When the new one comes , drill a small hole through the handle and attach a small safety chain maybe? |

Yeah, I have been looking what it would take to add a wire lock, secured to the bolt just above in the picture. |
