http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISYJc8Sy9rc&feature =youtu.be This is video of my blast idling issue. Also if I give it throttle at any point during this time it dies pretty quick. I have replaced the boot checked the jets and they appear to be clear the bike works a little better after I cleaned out the jets but it still doesn't work and it's frustrating me I really wanna ride my baby again. Thanks for the help. (Message edited by Combatwombat on November 26, 2013) |

David, Make sure that the vent hose is not clogged or crimped. The easiest way to test this, if the fuel tank is not totally full, is remove the gas cap and check to see if it will idle with the cap off. Kenny G |

Thanks for the reply Sadly I've tried idling it with the cap off and on doesn't make any noticeable difference. I have also cleaned the fuel filter and Double checked the spark plug gap (Message edited by Combatwombat on November 26, 2013) (Message edited by Combatwombat on November 27, 2013) |

David, You ruled out one more potential problem. If you wait for one of the more experienced Blast advocates to review your problem you will eventually solve the problem and start enjoying the Blast. Kenny G |

What grade gas are you using? Check plug wire as well. check diaphragm and needle as well. Check for vacuum leak - starter fluid will do. EZ |

Checked the Diaphragm and the needle they are fine no holes or anything out of the ordinary that I can see. I use 87 or higher I think its got 87 in there currently and it worked fine before with that gas. You said look for a vacuum leak starter fluid will do I don't really understand about the starter fluid part. |

Spray around the intake - if an increase in rpms - intake leak - use premium only - cheap stuff has a hard time starting cold. EZ |
