I'm going for that Road Warrior look. Does anyone know where I can get some good exhaust wrap in black? Any of our sponsors? Thanks, Lee

For a graphite black tape try here:

http://www.thermotec.com/products/full/11001/11001_part/11001_part.html

Or you can go through Summit Racing as they are a distributor for Thermotec.

You might also want to check out The Eastwood Company. They carry exhaust wrap in black. Here is their web site - http://www.eastwoodco.com/index.jsp

My first Buell an 98 S1W had headers wrapped when I bought it with an open 3" dump pipe... LOUD!

So what size wrap is needed?

Ryker77:

Did mine with 1 inch and over laped 1/2 inch ...

Used safety wire to hold ends at the heads and collector ...

Then "i" wraped with safety wire the whole length of wrap(this is so the wrap will not seperate(BRAKE) when some ARSE WHOLE gives it a good twist to see what happens) ...

You can get the 1 inch in 25 foot lenghts from
J. C. Whitney PN WE711303A at $27.95 plus ...
Used two on my header ...

Painted my header "RED"

Want a picture, "PING" me so "i" can get your E-MAIL ADDRESS ...
