I thought I would share a slippery footpeg fix I came up with. The main contact between the rider and the peg is at the forward corner of the peg so this area was one of main concern. This fix however covers the rest of the peg as well.
Go to the hardware store and get yourself Qty. (3) 3/16" x 4" wall anchor bolts for each footpeg. The ones with the collapsible/foldable anchor nuts. They are $0.55 ea. around here.
Discard the nut portion as you only need the bolt/screw part. Take the bolt and bend them around the footpeg back to front. One in the center groove and one on either side with one groove of space. I used channel lock pliers to hold and bend them. If you want pristine traction threads I would recommend using a piece of hard rubber or plastic to protect the threads during the bending process. I don't believe any bolt cutting is necessary, but is was a while ago that I did this. The bolts are not hard to bend as they are pretty low grade hardware.
That is pretty much it. Simple, cheap, and functional.

p.s. I don't log in and chat at all so I'm not ignoring anyone if you have a question. I just don't log on much.
