IVE GOT THE V&H SS2-R EXHAUST, K&N FILTER IN STOCK AIR BOX. I ORDERED THE V&H JET KIT WITH THE EXHAUST. I PERFORMED ALL INSTRUCTED CARB MODS TO A "T".
INSTRUCTIONS:1 DRILL OUT LIFT HOLE IN SLIDE W/ PROVIDED BIT. 2 INSTALL NEW EMULSION TUBE. 3 INSTALL NEW NEEDLE W/ CLIP IN 3RD RECESS FROM TOP AND ADD THE 3 PROVIDED SHIMS ON TOP OF CLIP AND NEW SLIDE SPRING. 4 ADJUST MIX SCREW TO 2 TURNS OUT. 5 JET CHOICE: STOCK BIKE #170, EXHAUST ONLY #165, AIRBOX ONLY #160, EXHAUST AND AIR BOX #155.

1ST PROBLEM:
IVE INSTALLED THE #155 ENGINE STARTS AND IDLES FINE BUT WHEN I CRACK THE THROTTLE AT LOWER RPM'S IT HESITATES AND COUGHS THEN COMES TO LIFE. IF I COVER THE INTAKE WITH MY HAND (ESSENTIALLY CHOCKING IT) ENGINE RESPONDS FINE.

2ND ISSUE: EVERY PLACE IVE LOOKED THEY SAY TO GO TO A 45/175 JET COMBO FOR MY MODS. WHY DOES THE V&H KIT WANT SUCH A SMALL JET SETUP?

BIKE RAN PERFECT UNTIL THE JET KIT MODS. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
