Hi all,

On a hot, windy ride from Chicago to Strugis last summer, oil began to spit from the transmission vent hose which ends under the seat. Oil soaked my foot pegs and rear tire. I had to wash it down at the car wash.

Leaking has continued. It's not a bad with cooler weather.

Anyone have an idea what may be causing this?

Thanks,

Kip (Chicago)

Yup, crank seal, it happens. You can replace it from inside the primary, lots of discussion on various threads here.
