A month ago my xb started to idle rough. It was intermittent at first. Did a normal tune up, problem persisted. The only code it through was historic for a o2 high/open. Replaced the sensor, made sure plugs were cleaned and gapped correctly. Same issue. Under load runs fine. In idle, it idles very rough, and is running rich. I can smell the fuel off of it. To the point that it will shut itself down. All stock other than a kn filter. 29k miles. I have verified that there are no intake leaks, fuel pressure test is good, coil is sparking correctly, and no codes. Any one have any ideas before I start throwing parts at this?

Possibly a leaking or faulty injector causing bike computer to adjust according to the o2 readings?

Ive thought that to, but wouldnt it show in my fuel milage? I inspected them while I had everything taken off, but didnt remove them. Do you have any idea how to test them so I dont play the guessing game with $100 injectors?

Your idle air control valve may be gummed up.

Is there a way to clean it or is it a throw away part?
