I've had my bike for a couple of weeks and last night it just dies while I was riding it.

Right after a slow speed turn - the electrical system seemed to shut down. I have headlights and brake lights, but no accessory power.

If I turn the bars all the way to the left, the power seems to come back on, but goes out right away.

Any help would be appreciated.

Seems like there is likely a loose connection or a broken wire that is making intermittent contact. I'd check the wires in the wire harness around the steering neck and handlebar area. Also check for secure wiring connections at the ignition lock terminations.

When I wiggle the wire at the bottom the bike operates normally.

I'm confident I need to repair or replace this piece - anyone know what it is? I've had a hell of a time finding it in the repair manual.

Pulled it apart and soldered a broken wire. Looks like it may happen again eventually. No matter how loose I tried to route it when the bars are locked left and right the wire gets pulled side to side.

Lengthen it with soldered wire one size bigger than what broke and good thick shrink wrap. Then tie it up where it can't get pinched.
