So I own a '09 XB9SX and have big hands. I can reach across an octave on a keyboard. Which makes the tiny grips hurt my hands since they don't really fit. How can I get fatter grips on my bike without feeding it candy and ice cream for a month in hopes of it developing love handles?

Have you looked at "grip puppies"? They helped me a lot with the small grips.

Good Luck

Hi Murf, did you have to cut 1/2 inch off of the grip puppies? I just ordered a pair of the small size and notice that they are 5" while my handgrips are 4 1/2".

I have a Vista Cruise Control (read clamp) and it takes up valuable real estate on the throttle grip, so I was thinking of getting a different cruise control that was thinner, or getting grips that don't flare up at the inside edge. As for grip puppies, I will look into them.
