Hey guys,
the other day I was riding home and the engine light stated coming on and then going off. The headlights were switching between low and high and then the needles in the cluster started going back and forth like they do when you turn the key on. Does anybody know what this could be?
I was guessing maybe a ground somewhere? but I am not real hot on the electrical side. Can somebody tell me where to find the grounds?

Big ground is under the seat on the battery's black cable where it meets the frame. Take it off and sand it and the terminal until they are shiny, then bolt securely back in place. Your issue sounds more like a wiring harness or quick-connect near the steering neck. The key switch itself can also fail.

Thanks Harleyelf. I checked and cleaned the grounds and tightened the battery cables since the positive one seemed a little loose. Whatever it was it seemed to fix it.
