I just want to add about 2oz. to 1 leg. Is this possible without total disassembly?

Brace the front axle or stand the rear wheel up on triangle lifts; when you take the nut off the top of the affected fork the bile will settle and if it's on the side-stand it will fall over. Some forks (like my '99 S3) have a dipstick.
