I have the top end off of my S1 for resealing, should the cylinder studs be replaced? I've got almost 20,000 miles on the bike.

You don't need to unless they are nicked or scarred. Also, make sure they aren't rusted at all, especially where they enter the case.

Thanks, after talking with another mechanic at an independant shop he told me something similiar.
