I suspect mine in bad. The PO, or maybe even the one before that, wired up some kind of crazy bypass with many many vampire clamps. I didn't even try to follow it, I just cut it back to where I had original harness. According to my manual, I've got all the wires connected to where they are supposed to go. I'm thinking the module went south, and that's why it was jury rigged the way it was. By the way, the turn signals didn't work when I got it, so whatever he did, it didn't work very well : )

The part number for the module is obsolete.

I found this part number, 68537-89G, and from pictures I've seen of it, other than the color, it looks identical externally, including the mounting hole and the connector.

Anyone ever replace one with the other?

I hate to drop a bill and a half on it, since I'm not absolutely certain it is the problem. Especially if it isn't going to work anyway.

I used one from an S1, and everything works again.

Jeff,
For future reference,the module is still available through Vintage Parts.You have to ask your dealer to run it that way.I bought one early this year.
