OK, So I posted two days ago about my bike not starting for some reason, well I changed out a relay and she fired right up and I drove her home. Yesterday I noticed that my high beam was out, OK so I pulled the bulb & it looked fine. Then I tested for voltage at the bulb, nothing. So I pulled the connector apart (look here:

Pin 2 & 3 nothing in either low or high beam.
Pin 1 read 14v regardless of high or low beam.
Low beam runs & works fine, it goes out when I flip switch to high beam (BTW the high beam indicator dummy light does come on).
Oh, and the flip switch to flash the high beam doesn't work either.
I also noticed two wires not connected to anything (see pics) a orange/white & a black.
In case your curious this is a 2005 Lightning 12XBScg with a Firebolt front fairing.
I'm scared to death to ride it with these electrical gremlins.

Can anyone HELP!?!?

PM me & I'll give you my # if a quick chat would be better.

Did it always do that?

Who did the fairing conversion? The problems you're having with the headlights are likely wiring issues between the Scg an XB.

I take it you don't have a Factory Service Manual with wiring diagrams for your bike. That can be your best friend in time of need.

Nope, it all was working fine until it didn't start last Friday night & I replaced the relay. The tail end is a Firebolt too.

To add to the list, I noticed tonight that the brake light doesn't work when activating the front brake (the rear works fine).

The conversion was done prior to the guy I bought it off of (He thought it was a Firebolt).
I have a factory service manual for a Firebolt.

So I wound up taking it to a shop & they traced it to a broken ground wire.
