2005 Lightning XB12Scg. Drove bike into work today, all was well. Went out tonight, put key in ignition, gauges swept, flipped start switch to on & heard nothing; press start switch, nothing.
Headlights are not on.
Gauge cluster lights are on, horn works, turn signals work, battery tests fine, grounds are tight.
All fuses are good, when I pulled the 30a fuse & plugged it back in the gauges swept (odd).
When I say nothing I mean nothing, so sound, click or anything.
Bike has been running fine. The last thing I did to it was change out the 77 connector to the new one (about two weeks ago), I looked at that too & it looks good.
Help....

Yep, did that when I was having the "connector" issue. I swapped some of the relays & seemed to get a response from that (light came back on & engine tried to crank) but it didn't turn over; probably because the bad relay was swapped. I have some new ones & just need to get a ride to where the bike is to install them & see. I will report back.
Thanks.

OK, so that was it; a bad relay. Now there is a spare in there, just in case. This electrical crap has now stranded me twice in less then a month. Oh yeah & one of my headlights went out. This keeps up and my next post will be in the classifieds.
