I just wanted to give a shout out to Brian the service writer, Kevin the service manager, and Kevin (KG) the Buell Master Tech.

If you live in the state of Washington... do not... I repeat... DO NOT!! Waste your time and money on any Harley specific shop or independent shop for service on your Buell... EXCEPT! Downtown Harley Davidson!

These guys are extremely professional!

Kevin (KG) the Buell Master Tech is an absolute stud and does nothing but work on Buells!

I believe he is the only Buell Master Tech on the West Coast and receives calls from the mother ship (Harley Davidson) when they have an issue on Buells they can't figure out.

I have wasted my money on other Harley shops in the Puget Sound area and they truly are clueless to Buells.

Sure they will tell you they can work on Buells... but what they really mean is they have a Harley Tech who has at one point in time gotten a Buell certification and changes the oil and adjust's the primary chain once in a blue moon on a Buell when someone doesn't know any better than to take their Buell to them.

Downtown Harley Davidson is the place to go!

They also have a strong Buell riders group called B.O.A.R.

Well stated, Pacificrider; I absolutely concur with everything you say. I am new to Buell, and yesterday spoke with Kevin asking for help troubleshooting a transmission fluid leak on my S3T. He took time from his busy day to talk at length regarding possible causes. He assured me he could get the parts I need and was very enthusiastic about providing support for Buell, not just as a tech but as a representative for the dealership as well. I ended the phone call feeling very encouraged about the level of service and parts availability that Kevin and Downtown Harley-Davidson will be able to provide.
