i have developed an oil leak on my 05 xb12scg behind my front sprocket, and someone suggested the output shaft bearing. i had a peek at my service manual, and it doesnt mention (that i have found) replacing just that bearing.. is it something i can replace without tearing the case down? any suggestions?

Thanks!

Have you replaced the oil seal under the sprocket? If you drive with the belt as tight as factory recommended, they leak. It's an easy replacement.
