Has anyone done an 1125 engine swap on a uly.I am currently on an 06 uly with around 40k on the ody. It still runs good but starting to hear a little rattle and was thinking of maybe picking up a salvage 1125 to do an engine swap. I dont really know much about the 1125 mounting but I can fab just about anything. Any comments or advice out there?

While anything can be done with enough time and money, you will find that you will want to get an 1125R frame and swingarm. They are vastly different from the XB and Uly frame, the R frame even has special indentations in it where the radiators sit near the frame.

It is possible to put a Uly tail and flyscreen on a 1125R, that would be easier than stuffing a R motor in a XB or Uly frame.

As Froggy says it would be better just o buy a complete 1125 and just transfer over the Uly specific parts.

I sort of looked into this. But with a cooling system and the drive on the opposite side and how angled the v is, forget it.
