Hello, I am having real problems removing my X1 swingarm, do the isolator bolts have threads and screw into the bushes?. When I have the pinch screws done up everything is rock solid, using the Allen key I cannot budge anything - with the pinch screws undone the bolts on each side free spin. Do the isolator bolts undo anti-clock. Any advice greatly appreciated

Sorted: I have searched everywhere for tips how to remove, but could not find any thing that helped. My main problem was the bike had been sitting outside for the past 14 years, I brought it crashed damaged from Japan, so every nut and bolt is rusted solid - this also meant the swing arm bolts. So for anyone interested keep pinch screws done up firmly, get the Allen key and undo isolator bolts (anti-clockwise) Phew! removed the bearings (found they had also collapsed) so now I have everything stripped off the bike - frame is about to be sandblasted and painted - then the journey to put all back together.
