Hi all,, i posted last week my Blast wouldnt run, it was idling really bad and u couldnt throttle at all or it would die! Took the carb off and put it back on(mite have been loose) and put a makeshift piece of tin with holes over the carb to restrict the air-flow and it ran today!! I even took it down the road for the 1st time in weeks!! But as soon as i tried to downshift or slow down it would die, but it would start up again and i would take off. Also.. when i took off 1st time it was MEAN!!! I spun out the rear tire and hit some sand and dropped the bike on myself : ) Got up and took off and it was way more powerful than before lol Any suggestions on why it wont idle now when thats all it would do before?? Also i noticed the top end of every gear was bogged down. Thanks again

Did you try it with out the restrictor you made? Also do you have the throtttle valve adjusted open properly? I have had carb problems before also and ELECTRICAL (MAY the biker gods save me) but a few times I have had to rebuild it twice to get it right. OH and use SIL_GLYDE around your seals to protect and allow them to move. Good Luck.
