My bike has cooked two speed sensors in one month...each one failed while I was opening the throttle hard...help

The problem is with over-voltage. Need to get a 5v regulator and install it in the speed sensor wiring. The regulator can be found in just about any cell phone car charger.

I thought the newer style had a regulator built in? So the question remains are they the new style?

On the other threads they were still using an external vr on the speed sensor replacements last year.
